Kansas City Chiefs

A season-long partnership with the Kansas City Chiefs spanning multiple projects. From limited-edition charity prints to playoff posters to fan wallpapers, the team would lead with the brief and leave it to me to execute in my style.

Artist Poster Series

This poster was part of the Chiefs' Kingdom Poster Series, which was a season-long campaign where select artists designed limited-edition prints for each home matchup. 100% of the net proceeds of poster sales went to Kansas City-area charities.

For the Monday Night Football game against the Giants, I wanted to frame the Chiefs as the real giants in the game. The concept pulled from screen-printed horror and B-movie posters – "It Came From Kansas City" – with a flaming arrowhead shooting star and KC Wolf looming in a storm behind the oversized Chiefs player reaching out from the background.

Wildcard Playoff PosteR

With the Chiefs entering the playoffs on the back of another Division Championship, the concept captures their dominant regular season stretch – specifically Weeks 8 through 16. That was a streak where the team went unbeaten and cemented its spot as division leaders. Key moments from that run are presented in a comic book panel format, each one a defining moment in what became the franchise's 14th division title.

Wallpaper Wednesday

For a road game in Philadelphia, I decided to give the team's Wallpaper Wednesday series an expanded treatment. Rather than a single illustration adapted across two sizes, I illustrated four vignettes of KC Wolf sightseeing across Philly – Lincoln Financial Field, the Liberty Bell, the LOVE sculpture, the Rocky statue – each one its own phone wallpaper, and all four combining into a full desktop 'Greetings from Chiefs Kingdom' postcard.
